Photography is love. It is my love of people, my curiosity about their life experiences, and my interest in their challenges. It is my appreciation for shapes and how we relate to geometry in private and public spaces. It is my admiration for my surroundings and all that inspires me.
Anyone can hold the camera, and most people do. They use it to record their life experiences and wonders and to share them with others. Those images help them define their world and add meaning to it.
Being a photographer and recording the stories of other people has been my life’s journey. I have been fortunate to be doing that for over three decades by collaborating with people who share my creative vision and appreciate my artistic talent and perspective. Observing, creating, and inspiring is my way of life. I continually look for opportunities to tell a story, share the human experience, and help others improve their lives through inspiration. It generates growth, provides perspective, and improves lives.
My journey began with a realization, then a choice that led me to a path unlike anything I could have imagined. This path took numerous turns along its way and continues to carry me to meet new people, be at new places, and find new interactions and inspirations with people from all walks of life. This site holds a handful of moments from some of the projects I have been involved with over the years that show the core of my creative aim.
I have been honing my artistic craft for over thirty years. In that time I became known for my visceral and visual immersion in the storytelling of life events. I take my passion and cameras on journeys that follow people as they experience transformational life events and periods of self-reflection. In addition to the life stories, featured in exhibits such as Mordechai, Act I, and Future, Beware!, I have also been recognized for my abstract photographic work, most notably the Body Lines series, and numerous other gallery exhibits. My work spanned the world, including locations in Israel, India, Russia, and many spots around the United States.
I accept commissions for photography projects and assignments, based on availability and topic. For additional information, please contact the studio.
